saturday(the 20th)

on the night of the 20th, after my dad picked me up from my friends house,our ward had our adult dance. the 10-11 year olds got to baby-sit all the little kids while the moms and dads had the dance. it was super duper fun. at first, there was only me and my brothers and sister, but then, little by little more and more and more people were coming in. my friend hannah came finally and the, one of the parents of the little kids came and brought in Curious George. after a few minutes of watching it, i decided to pop the popcorn that hannahs mom brought in for us to pop. so then i went into the kitchen to pop it. at first i did just like 2 bags, and decided to just bring in cups of popcorn. but then hannah came in and suggested that we use the tray that we can roll into the room where everybody was. i agreed. then we got down to business. then one of the people who were helping with the dance asked us if we needed any hep and said that we could use some of the grapes, too if we needed. so we did. then we eventually got to the room and passed out popcorn and drinks and people got grapes if they wanted some. we kept on having to go back and forth to pop more popcorn. along the way we heard some of the music that was playing in the gym, and we danced to it in the hall way. then another baby-sitter that was helping out in the room came with us and heard a song that she knew and started dancing the dance that goes with it. hannah knew it too and she also did the dance. then they both went in the gym and started doing it. apparently almost everybody knew it except me, and my mom and dad who were dancing along but didn't know it ether. then they invited all 3 of us to dance. so then we all just danced our own dance for the rest of the time. but, we did take a few breaks and we had little snacks in between songs. we also checked on how things were doing back in the nursery(where everybody was). it lasted like a really long time, from 7:00-9:30. but, we didn't get home until 10:30.
